Summer officially arrives in Scotland in June, and it is the warmest and most pleasant time that it will be all year. Long golden days are to be expected, allowing us the greatest opportunities to land each day. The temperature is moderate, usually in the mid to late teens (°C), but when the sun shines it can be very warm.

However, Scotland’s weather is extremely changable – with sun one moment and rain the next! Rain should be expected at any time, regardless of how the morning looks, so on your daily excursions we always recommend carrying waterproof gear like waterproof jacket and pants, a small umbrella and waterproof protection for valuables such as your camera.
