Enjoy one of the world’s most scenic rail journeys and then explore picturesque Bergen at your own pace.

Day 1 – Oslo

On arrival into Oslo, make your own way to the hotel. The airport train is a cheap and convenient option that takes you direct to the city centre, and our hotel is located a short 3 minute walk across the square from Oslo Central Station.

Overnight: Thon Hotel Opera

Day 2 – Oslo > Voss

Make your way to Oslo Central Station to commence one of the world’s most scenic rail journeys. Be prepared to travel through some of the most magnificent landscapes of farmland, forests and glacier-capped mountains before arriving in Voss. (D)

Overnight: Fleisher’s Hotel

Day 3 – Voss > Gudvangen > Flåm > Myrdal > Voss

Enjoy a full-day sightseeing tours. Superb waterfalls line the road as your coach weaves its way down to Gudvangem. Take a ferry the the Naeroy Fjord then ascend the Flam Valley by electric train to Myrdal, where you will be transported back to Voss. (B,D)

Overnight: Fleischer’s Hotel

Day 4 – Voss > Bergen

Spend the morning enjoying Voss before boarding a train to Bergen, Norway’s second largest city, where the rest of the day is spent exploring the city at your leisure. (B)

Overnight: Neptun Hotel

Day 5 – Bergen

Today, explore Bergen at your own pace. You may visit the World Heritage-listed wooden houses at Bryggen, take the famous funicular to the top of Mount Floyen, spy the catch of the day at the lively fish market or enjoy a guided tour. (B)
